The United States made one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the PGA Cup competition, battling against all odds to win Ireland and Great Britain after coming down from 4 points and reclaiming the trophy after 6 years.

McIlroy finished behind Wallace by 11 shots at the PGA Championship held at Wentworth. His wife and kids were in the crowd to watch.
The Irishman scored three holes under 5, however, it was a major struggle for him on the back nine for him to return home in 42, making that the worst round he has played since his 79 at The Open, where he was not able to make the cut.

The star of the Solheim Cup in America romped a win of 8-shots in France, at Golf du Medoc, located close to Bordeaux, while playing at Lacoste Ladies Open de France.
